Admission Policy
The school is open to all who are willing to abide by the school’s Christian education philosophy as guided by NorthCreek Church’s Statement of Faith. Any student, regardless of race or color, with a desire to learn and a history of good conduct, may apply. Initial acceptance and grade level will be judged on:

  • Review of the required application.
  • Personal interviews with student applicants (7th/8th grades) and both parents and/or guardians.
  • Parental commitment to the school’s curriculum and educational style.
  • Age. Kindergarten and first grade applicants should be 5 and 6, respectively, with their birthdays on or before September 1. Students transferring in from schools with different age requirements will be considered individually.
  • Former school records (where applicable) and an acceptable history of conduct.
  • Grade level readiness. Incoming applicants may be tested as deemed necessary and are screened for grade level placement before being admitted. General achievement should be approximately at or above grade level. All Kindergarten applicants are given a readiness assessment.

Information regarding specific enrollment timelines and priorities will be published and made available to the school community each fall.

Nondiscriminatory Policy
NorthCreek Academy admits students of any race, color, and national or ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to all students of the school. NorthCreek Academy does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, or national and ethnic origin in administration of its educational policies, recruiting, hiring, reviewing and promoting of staff, admissions policies, scholarship and loan programs, and athletic or other school-administered policies.

Dismissal / Withdrawal
Students benefit most when the school and the home have a similar philosophy and utilize similar methods of teaching and discipline. Should the time come when either the NorthCreek Academy or the parents feel that the child is not benefiting from the program, either the school or the parents may request withdrawal in writing. Financial obligations due to withdrawals are addressed in the school financial policies available in the office.
