Tuition Payment Plans
Parents must select one of the following tuition payment plans.
- Annual Tuition - A 3% discount will be given
for full-year payments made no later than June 1, 2007. In the
event of early withdrawal, neither the Application Fee, Consumables & Book
Fee, nor the first month’s tuition will be refunded; all
refunds will be prorated based on the annual tuition paid.
- 10-Payment Plan - The first month’s,
non-refundable tuition is due no later than June 1, 2007. The
balance of tuition is paid in nine (9) equal monthly payments
due on the first of each month from September 1 through May 1.
For returning students, all accounts must be clear before reenrollment.
Monthly Payments
- Monthly payments are due on the first of each month. Tuition
and/or Family Child Care fees will become delinquent after the
10th of the month and be assessed a $25 late fee. Parents whose
tuition or Family Child Care fees become more than ten days in
arrears must make payment arrangements (on or before the 10th)
through the school office.
If the 10th falls on a Saturday, your payment is due in the office
on the Friday before.
All tuition payments are due on the first day of the month. Checks
should be made payable to NorthCreek Academy or NCA; cash payments
will be receipted. Tuition payments may be mailed or personally
delivered to the school office and deposited in the designated
box. The school will not be responsible for unaccounted tuition
brought in by students.
Family Child Care(FCC)
Before and after school care is provided at $4.80 per hour, billed
in increments of 15 minutes. A fee of $1 for each minute after
6:00PM is charged for each child who is not picked up on time.
Textbook Policy
All textbooks and workbooks are furnished by the school as part
of the Consumables & Book Fee charged to all students. Students
must return all textbooks at the end of the year in the best possible
condition. Parents are expected to pay the replacement cost for
any lost or damaged books.
Withdrawl/Refund Policy
If a parent wishes to withdraw a student for any reason, the parent
must give at least a two-week notice. Any refunds made are based
on unused time. Withdrawal from the 1st to the 15th of the month
equals one-half month’s refund. Withdrawal from the 16th
to the 31st receives no refund for the month. One-half month’s
tuition will be charged if there is not a two-week notice given
when a student withdraws. Official withdrawal must be made by submitting
a written withdrawal form to the school office. The Application
Fee, Consumables & Book Fee and the first month’s tuition
are non-refundable. No refunds will be given for absences or vacations.
Delinquent Accounts
Should circumstances prohibit the planned payment of tuition, it is the parents’ responsibility
to contact the business office to discuss plans for payment. Accounts are considered
delinquent when accounts proceed more than two months in arrears. In such circumstances,
the school reserves the right to withhold services which could result in student
dismissal.
Dismissal Policy
In case of student dismissal, NorthCreek Academy will refund any unused tuition
within 14 days upon receipt of all school property. Application, consumable
and books and other fees are non-refundable.
Additional Costs
The following areas are not covered in the cost of tuition and
are the responsibility of the parent: student’s personal
supplies, school uniforms, field trips, optional hot lunch participation,
musical instrument rentals, after school sports and extended/overnight
field trips.
Leave Of Absence
No credit is given for any absence. Should your child require absence
of more than four (4) weeks, we will continue to maintain your
child’s place during this period if the monthly tuition
is paid. Your child may be withdrawn with the understanding that
he/she will be re-admitted without a new Consumables & Book
Fee providing space is available.
Returned Checks
Tuition payment checks that are returned by the bank to the school
because of insufficient funds will be assessed a service charge
of $25. A returned check will be considered nonpayment, and the
late fee of $25 will be assessed to all such accounts not paid
by the 10th of the month.
EScrip
Upon final acceptance you are required to submit an eScrip registration
form. The eScrip program offers a hassle-free and paperless way
for parents and supporters to financially support the Academy
and Preschool.
Nondiscriminatory Policy
NCA admits students of any race, color and national or ethnic origin to all the
rights, privileges, programs and activities generally accorded or made available
to all students of the school. NCA does not discriminate on the basis of race,
color, or national and ethnic origin in administration of its educational policies,
recruiting, hiring, reviewing and promoting of staff, admissions policies,
scholarship and loan programs, and athletic or other school-administered policies.
